The NVIDIA Control Panel Display Properties Extension is installed together with drivers for NVIDIA graphics cards. Nvcpl.dll is part of graphics card drivers and loads on system startup. The nvcpl.dll process is responsible for the Advanced configuration tab in the Display Properties section of the Control Panel.
How to Fix the “Nvcpl.dll Not Found" Error
Just like any other .dll file, nvcpl.dll can become missing or corrupt. This will make nvcpl.dll fail to load. Sometimes nvcpl.dll errors occur because of a problem in the Windows registry or a virus infection.
